Our aircraft seats are equipped with genuine leather and plush memory foam cushions for added comfort as well as 100 channels of free XM® Radio. Each plane has a galley that can stow meals and drinks of your choice as well as freshly brewed coffee for all passengers.

The size of our aircraft's cargo compartment is 310 cubic feet and our maximum cargo capacity is 2,646 pounds. This is roughly 75 standard passenger bags.

Aircraft performance is based on many factors, but in general, the maximum payload range is 1,600 statue miles in average headwinds. The aircraft can normally operate at maximum payload from runways greater than 6,500 feet in length. However, in some cases, payload may be limited to account for high-altitude airports, high temperatures or obstacles in the departure path of the aircraft. Often we exceed the performance mentioned above.

ExpressJet operates in North America, Latin America and South America as well as the Caribbean under a Part 121 Air Carrier operating certificate. We can operate from a Fixed Based Operator (FBOs) or terminal buildings in most cases. We have dedicated charter aircraft based from North Carolina to California creating lower reposition expenses and faster response times.

Operations from Fixed Based Operators or private terminals typically don’t require passenger security screening. However, passengers names are vetted against the current No-Fly list prior to the flight and the flight attendant cross-checks the manifest with passengers’ IDs when boarding.

If you charter one of our jets, you have the flexibility to define the schedule, customize your catering and any other special requests. Our experienced operations staff will see to it that your requests are met.

The final cost depends on how you utilize the jet, your starting and ending destinations as well as the number of destinations. In general, a day trip will cost anywhere from $20,000-$30,000 on average and a two-day trip will cost $40,000-$50,000 on average. The interior of our jets is an upgraded airline configuration. There are two seats on one side and a single seat on the other side of the aisle. All seats are leather and have plush memory foam cushions for added comfort along with XM® Radio. All interiors are just over one year old.

We can accommodate most catering requests. Hot food can be kept warm and served just after takeoff.

Every flight has one FAA-certified flight attendant to take care of your needs and to ensure your safety throughout the flight. If you desire additional flight attendants on your flight, they are available upon request for an extra fee.

The minimum runway length to accommodate our jets is 5,000 feet, but the flight may have limited seating and cargo capacity. Under average conditions a runway of 6,500 feet will accommodate a full payload.
